At EchoKids, one of our most important jobs is matching an excellent teacher (we call them “mentors”) with your child. An EchoKids is more than just a music teacher. We call them “mentors” because part of their job is to help develop your child’s confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
Our mentors are sourced from collegiate-level, and must also check off key traits that we rate highly at EchoKids including:
- Excited and Entertaining
- Social and Communicative
- Open-Minded and a Good Listener
- Believe in Self-Development and supporting the development of those around them
Finding the right person to interact with your child every week can be stressful and frustrating. However, once you find the right individual, it is immensely rewarding. At EchoKids, we take that stress off of your plate, and you can be confident that every EchoKids mentor has the skills and personality to have a meaningful impact on your child.
This also means that should your child ever want to switch to a different instrument or join a group event hosted by someone who is not their current instructor, they will have a similar experience with another mentor that is caring, entertaining, and communicative.
At the end of the day, what’s important is that your child is having fun and growing.
