I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember! At a young age I began entering talent shows as well as school musicals. I began taking voice lessons around the age of 7 and have been learning new techniques ever since. Throughout my four years of high school I was very involved in musical theatre. My sophomore year I auditioned for my schools Chamber Singers Choir, and became the Alto section leader. This is where I began my classical music training. At the age of 15 I started to learn the guitar and ukulele. This is also when I began my songwriting!
After high school I went on to study classical music and Opera for 2 years at Central Connecticut State University, as well as some piano. I then wanted to expand my musically in modern/jazz music and transferred to Berklee College of Music. I am now a senior at Berklee finishing up my major in songwriting.
I’ve been working with kids since I was 16. Coming from a background of working with kids of all ages I am knowledgeable on behavior and different learning styles and techniques. My goal is to give my students a comfortable and fun learning environment that gives them the opportunity to spread their wings through music. While also having a healthy background and structure on how to use their instrument!
