In most fields, young people are perceived as inexperienced, untrustworthy investment to build a relationship or work with. At EchoKids, we attempt at overcoming this attitude towards the younger generation, basing off the Zen Buddhist practice of the Beginner's Mind, Shoshin.
"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, but in the expert's there are few"
By working with collegiate students, we keep the EchoKids community filled with young, eager, fresh, and open-minded mentors who simply wants to bring joy to children through the power of music with little to no experience.
At EchoKids everyone is always learning, with a smile.
All our mentors have cleared the background checks.
