I have been a music student and music mentor my entire life. I was classically trained as a classical vocalist, and musical theater performer during my 4 years at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts in NYC. Alongside this experience, I also took pop lessons at The NYC Pop Vocal Academy where I worked on advanced modern music techniques such as chest voice belting and riffing.
Through these past years of learning, I have become aware of what works and what doesn't as a music student. With this knowledge I am able to convey these techniques to kids of all ages looking to build a foundation of correct vocal tools for all aspects and genres of singing !
I know everyone learns differently, so I am sure that with my diverse background I will be able to not only make learning, singing, and artistry a new and exciting experience, but also educational and fun! It is a great outlet for every single emotion we feel through our lives, and music is a beautiful way to channel it into something permanent and meaningful. I love being a mentor and teacher to kids of all ages and look forward to teaching as well as learning alongside my students!
