I am originally from Windsor, Ontario and currently living in Nashville. I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with Cum Laude Honors where I majored in Songwriting and minored in English. I am a singer-songwriter and would describe my music as pop with 90s folk and 80s classic rock influences. I play piano, guitar, clarinet, and I am a vocalist. Also, I have been gigging since I was 15 and have been named a songwriting finalist in Canada’s South Songwriting Competition and CBC Searchlight: Canada’s Search for the Next Rising Star. In my spare time, I love to read, practice French, and work on my poetry.
I’ve loved working with kids for as long as I can remember. I am a big sister and have enjoyed the responsibility of being a role model for my siblings. In high school, I did a co-op with an elementary music program that changed my entire life. Similarly, I was an assistant teacher at Little Groove Music, a “mommy & me” music class that has won the coveted “Best of Boston” award. In that job, I witnessed the incredible impact music has on children as young as six months old. I’ve watched children take their first steps and speak their first words in our classes. As a mentor, I constantly aspire to be a personal cheerleader for every child I work with. I approach teaching with patience, compassion, and excitement
