Create an underwater friend using Popsicle sticks and beads!

Materials:

• Colored Craft Sticks
• White Beads
• Googly Eyes
• Colored Paper or Foam Sheet
• Glue
• Black Marker
• Cup or Like (anything that can be used to trace a circle!)

Activity:

• Trace a cup on a sheet of colored paper to create a circle and cut it out
• Take four colored craft sticks, overlap two to create a plus sign, then over lap the other two to fill in the missing diagonal spaces to form a star shape, and glue them all together
• Glue the circular paper cut out onto the middle of the star shaped craft sticks
• Glue on white beads on the craft sticks to create the octopus's "suckers"
• Finally, glue on googly eyes onto the circular cut out and bring the octopus to life by drawing a little smile!
